Dear Plexus Community,
Happy December! My name’s Alessa. I’m one of the 11 new Plexus Product Interns. A prospective Computer Science and Statistics major at Williams hailing from Santa Barbara, I joined Plexus to launch a first-of-its-kind tool: the self-organizing notebook.
Our now 15-person team has been meticulously preparing to share Plexus at Williams and Princeton. Davey Morse (Founder) has been living in Williamstown while working full-time. He’s had conversations with dozens of students and journalists, built the Williams Plexus team, and improved the the alpha web app. Laeo Crnkovic-Rubsamen and Petr Karpov have been part-time while back as undergraduates at Princeton, building the Princeton Plexus team and planning their launch.
We’ve reshaped the tool to suit the needs of students and journalists: enabling search, making more connections, and providing a directory of your concepts. One of our alpha testers remarked that typing in Plexus feels like “coding in English.”
If interested, you can join our waitlist at plexusnotes.com. To be the first to hear our engineering updates, you can join the very new Plexus Slack.
We’re currently looking to meet:
Impact-focused software engineers, as we look to build our engineering team.
Tech journalists, as we explore people beyond students whom Plexus can help.
We’d be grateful for any introductions.
That’s all for now. Launch updates to follow!
Best,
Alessa Somer
